Day 5
I weighed myself today. The scale was reading 228 pounds, which is 10 pounds less than 5 days ago. Did I lose 10 pounds in body fat in just 5 days? I don't think so.
Keep in mind a gallon of water weighs 7 pounds. So if I've been retaining fluids, and my fasting regimen has released those excess fluids, the drastic weight loss is easier to understand.
Any way, my walking regularly, taking saunas, and my fluid intake regimen are having a positive effect on my mood and my sleep. Which is a very good thing.
I'm not sure I'll keep updating daily until I'm consistently losing pounds every day. I expect it will be one to two pound on a daily basis.
My goal is to lose 70 pounds and finally flatten my stomach. The first 50 will come off with the water only fast. After that I'll intermittent fast until I've lost the next 20. It may take another 20 days or so. Hopefully before thanksgiving.
